Watercolour, for me is perhaps the hardest and un-forgiving medium with which to work in as an artist.
The paint dries too fast, the paper bleeds through, the colours run together in a somewhat unpredictable way. This may be why I prefer oil painting. With oils, you can let the painting stand a bit, stand back and look at it, then proceed. With Watercolours though you have to be focused, and almost have the end product in mind. Of course if talk to a true Watercolour artist you may get a much different opinion. Nonetheless, here are a few of the ones I've managed to squeeze out over the years. The one above titled "Autumn Reflections" is perhaps my most favorite. It was less forced than some of the others and it was fun to do.
