My old biography use to start out with "I was born in a cross-fire hurricane," and went on with much of the same mysterious tales. Most was true, but embellished a bit. The part about the hurricane was true, I was told the lights actually went out in the delivery room while my Mother was giving birth. She also told me that soon as I could hold a piece of chalk in my hand I started to draw, later graduating to pencils, pens, paints and such. No matter if it's fine art, drawing, painting, photography, videoagraphy or even acting on stage, I always have to have some creative outlet in my life. If I don't, I get very cranky.
Much of my art is very intertwined with events in my life, experiences, nightmares, and mostly art from my photography. People and landscapes are probably my most loved forms of expression. Landscapes more these days as after moving to Florida in 1993.
The reason I moved to Florida was because of the ocean, the beauty of its nature, and now that has started to disappear. Okay, so it really started to disappear the moment that famous mouse built that theme park in Orlando. So I set up to document in art what I loved about this state and most about the world around me.
A good place to start might be pencil drawings, pastels or oil painting. These are my most favorite mediums with which to work. NOTE: This new site is a work-in-progress, some links may not work or pages may not be complete.
